Why is mapping important?
On the Voxloud side:
Enables specific users to manage chat conversations.
Allows users to view the Voxloud Chat Inbox directly within the Voxloud desktop app.
On the Voxloud Chat side:
Allows chat users to make direct calls to contacts in the conversation by clicking the 📞 icon in the chat.
Note: Mapping must be performed on both sides (Voxloud and Voxloud Chat).
Part 1: Map Users in Voxloud
Step 1:
Log in to the Voxloud Control Panel with the administrator account and click Integrations.
Search for Romulus in the search bar.
Click the Romulus button.
Step 2:
Click Configure.
Select Next.
3. Associate each Voxloud user with the corresponding Voxloud Chat user.
Click Next.
4. Wait for the synchronization to complete, then close the window by clicking the X.
Mapping is complete! Users can now view the Voxloud Chat Inbox directly within the Voxloud Desktop app.
Part 2: Map Users in Voxloud Chat
Note: Before proceeding, make sure you have connected your Chatbot. Click HERE to learn how.
Step 1:
Log in to the Voxloud Control Panel and go to Integrations.
Search for API in the search bar, click API, and copy your API Key.
Step 2:
Go to Chat in the main menu.
Select the Chatbot for which you want to perform the mapping.
Click Third-party Apps Integration.
Step 3:
Type Voxloud in the search bar.
Click Connect.
Step 4:
Paste your API Token.
Click Connect.
3. Associate Voxloud Chat users with Voxloud users, then click Update.
Congratulations, the mapping is now active!
Voxloud Chat users can call contacts directly from the chat by clicking the 📞 icon.
