What is a Chatbot?

A Voxloud Chatbot is a tool that simulates conversations with customers or leads, automating responses and guiding the user through predefined flows.

You can create chatbots for different channels, such as:

  • WhatsApp

  • Facebook Messenger

  • Instagram Direct

  • Telegram

  • Website Webchat

Each chatbot uses one or more Chatflows to manage conversations.

What is a Chatflow?

A Chatflow is the logical engine of conversations.
It is made up of modules (or blocks) that define the chat path, the questions to be asked, the actions to be performed, and if/how to involve a human agent.

A Chatflow can be triggered:

  • Automatically, by a customer message

  • Manually, by an agent using a template

Types of Chatflows

You can create two main types of Chatflow:

  • Default Chatflow
Triggered when a customer or lead writes for the first time or after a long period of inactivity.

  • Revisit Chatflow
Triggered when a customer reopens an expired conversation or one that has already been handled in the past.

Important note: Only one Default and one Revisit Chatflow can be active per bot.
However, you can create multiple Chatflows, link them together, or associate them with specific templates.

How to Access and Manage Your Chatflows

  1. Go to the Bots section in the Voxloud Control Panel.

  2. Select the desired bot.

  3. Click Edit Your Chat Flow.

Here you can:

  • View all existing Chatflows

  • Check which ones are active as Default or Revisit

  • Create new Chatflows

  • Edit or reorganize existing ones

Once the Voxloud specialist has linked the bot to your channel, you are ready to start creating and customizing your Chatflows!
