Introduction
Robocalls are automated calls linked to a Voxloud number rule available in your Account Control Panel.
This rule is typically saved as a draft with a name related to its usage (e.g., Robocall_Promotion), but it can also be associated with an opening or closing rule.
Purpose of Robocalls
With the Voxloud Robocall module, you can:
Automate callbacks to leads, improving contact speed and response rates
Increase sales conversion by focusing time and resources on high-potential opportunities
Send phone reminders to customers for appointments, deadlines, or promotions
Improve contact management and lead qualification, reducing workload for the sales team and optimizing resources
Robocalls are a versatile solution, applicable not only for sales (lead management) but also for:
Automated post-sales follow-up thank-you calls
Appointment confirmations or schedule updates (post-sales onboarding, VIP technical support, etc.)
Sending urgent notifications or personalized updates.
How to Create a Robocall
Create the Rule for the Robocall
In this example, the Robocall references an IVR rule with two options:
If the customer/lead answers, they will hear instructions to press key 1 or key 2 depending on their needs.
Open your Voxloud Control Panel and select the phone number that will execute the Robocall. Expand the dropdown menu, click Rules, then click New Rule.
2. Define the rule name, set the time range as Draft (no predefined schedule), choose the rule type (IVR), and click Create.
3. Complete the rule, starting with the instruction message.
4. Configure the IVR options, assigning clear labels to each one to easily identify customer/lead selections later.
5. Click the blue Save button (top right) to store the rule.
The rule for the Robocall is now created!
Create the Robocall
Click on the Robocall option, then click the red + button to add a new Robocall.
Click Configure Basics and define the Robocall parameters, such as name, previously saved draft rule (linked to the number it was created under), and the success criteria that stop further attempts.
3. Click Retry Options to define the number of attempts and time intervals (in seconds).
Typically, the first attempt is set to 0 to run immediately. Click the red + button to add more attempts.
4. Click DND Options to configure Do Not Disturb settings, specifying days or time ranges when Robocalls should not be placed.
Example: ignore DND for the first attempt, skip Saturday and Sunday, and block calls from Monday to Friday between 20:00 and 08:00.
Click the blue Create button.
Your Robocall is now fully configured with all options!
Final Steps
The Robocall will now appear in the Robocall section of Voxloud.
By clicking Actions, you can edit, test, and manage activation.
The Make and Zapier sections include complete step-by-step guides
