The Telegram Chatbot

Learn how to develop a Telegram Chatbot capable of automatically managing and responding to all incoming messages from new contacts on the platform.

Create a New Telegram Bot

  1. Navigate to Create New Bot within your Voxloud Chat dashboard.

  2. Select the intended use case.

  3. Click on Telegram Chatbot.

  • Enter the phone number associated with your Telegram account and click Connect.

  1. Enter the access code received via Telegram. If enabled, also enter your two-factor authentication password.

  2. Click Create Bot.

  1. Assign a Name

  2. Assign a Username to the bot.

  3. Click on Create Bot

Note: In case of errors, verify the data provided by BotFather in Telegram.

After creation, you will be redirected to the ChatFlow screen of your new bot.

Connecting an Existing Telegram Bot

  1. Repeat the first three steps above (Create New Bot → Telegram Chatbot → Connect).

  2. Select Connect Your Existing Bot."

  • Enter the required details:

    • Bot Name

    • Bot Username

    • Bot Authentication Token, obtained through BotFather

    • Click Connect Bot.

  • You will then be redirected to the ChatFlow page of the connected bot.
