Why is mapping important?
On the Voxloud side:
It allows you to enable specific users to manage chat conversations.
It lets users view the Voxloud Chat Inbox directly within the Voxloud desktop app.
On the Voxloud Chat side:
It enables chat users to make direct calls to contacts in conversation by clicking the 📞 icon within the chat.
Note: Mapping must be completed on both sides — Voxloud and Voxloud Chat.
Part 1: Map users in Voxloud
Step 1
Log in to the Voxloud Control Panel with the administrator account and click Integrations.
Search for Romulus in the search bar.
Then click the Romulus button.
Step 2:
Click Configure.
Then select Next.
Step 3:
Match each Voxloud user with the corresponding Voxloud Chat user.
Then click Next.
Wait for the synchronization to complete, then close the window by clicking the X in the top-right corner.
Mapping complete!
Users will now see the Voxloud Chat Inbox directly within the Voxloud Desktop App.
Part 2: Map users in Voxloud Chat
Note: Before proceeding, make sure you have connected your Chatbot. Click HERE to learn how.
Step 1:
Log in to the Voxloud Control Panel and go to Integrations.
Search for API in the search bar, click on API, and copy your API Key.
Step 2:
Go to Chat in the main menu.
Select the Chatbot you want to map users to.
Click Third-party Apps Integration.
Step 3:
Type Voxloud in the search bar.
Click Connect.
Step 4:
Paste your API Token.
Click Connect.
Match the Voxloud Chat users with the corresponding Voxloud users, then click Update.
The mapping is now active!
Voxloud Chat users can now call contacts directly from the chat by clicking the 📞 icon.
